Soccer Players On The Rise This Year
In sports and every aspect of life always comes a period for change of generations. This means that the youngest took over, and the oldest is slowly retiring. In football, it is very often for a young player to make a boom on the big stage and become a star. In the 2020 season, many young soccer players used their chance to make it to the first team. Now, in 2021 everyone expects them to rise and to become great footballers.
Anatoli Turbin , 19 Years Old, (Shakhtar)
He started in almost all Shakhtar's matches in the UEFA Champions League group stage in the 2020/21 season while keeping the net intact for three matches.
Christian Romero, 22 Years Old, (Atalanta)
The central defender raised the level after the transfer from Juventus. He became a key player in the game of Atalanta and a real commander of the defensive line.
Zaidu Sanusi, 23 Years Old, (Porto)
The left back's position was fitted him well in Porto. After the transfer from Santa Clara, he quickly managed to take place in the former European champion. He missed only 13 minutes in the group stage of the Champions League this season.
Jules Kounde, 22 Years Old, (Sevilla)
This is a classic central defender. He comes from France and plays a vital role in the "Sanchez Pizjuan" team led by Julen Lopetegui. He also scored a nice goal against Rennes in the sixth round of the group.
Alfonso Davis, 20 Years Old (Bayern Munich)
Last season's masterful performances in the Final 8 in the Champions League promoted him as a standard player in the new season. He has the potential to become one of the best backs in Europe.
Pedri, 18 Years Old (Barcelona)
The attacking midfielder made his debut in October and scored a goal. He came to Barça from Las Palmas. Lately, he is often in the first squad, as he seems to understand a lot with Messi.
Jad Bellinghem, 17 Years Old, (Dortmund)
He moved from Birmingham to Borussia Dortmund in July. He plays in several positions, and Dortmund got a great football player in him. He played in all six matches in the group stage in the Champions League.
Giovani Reina, 18 Years Old, (Dortmund)
He reads the game well, has a sense of space, and "feeds" the attackers with balls. Moreover, he scores goals himself; if you look at most of them are effective goals.
Dominik Szoboszlai, 18 Years Old, (Salzburg / Leipzig)
The offensive player has already made a transfer from Salzburg to Leipzig. He left a strong mark for the Austrian team, so many clubs wanted him in their ranks. However, the choice of Hungarian was Leipzig.
Diogo Jota, 24 Years Old, (Liverpool)
He previously did not play a major role in Porto. But, after the transfer to England, he was first reborn in Wolverhampton. Liverpool saw that and brought him to Anfield, where he has played impressively. He even scored a hat trick against Atalanta in the third round of the UEFA Champions League group stage.
Marcus Turam, 23 Years Old, (Mongengladbach)
The son of the famous Liliam Turam was the starter in all the matches for Monchengladbach on the group stage. With both goals against Real Madrid, he turned his attention, and now it remains to continue developing and playing at a high level.
Many other young soccer players also impressed us with their skills, like Ansu Fati from Barcelona, Youssoufa Moukoko from Borussia Dortmund, Joseph Willock from Arsenal. We hope they fulfill their dream and will become football legends to enjoy their magic.
